The Coffee by Order Out was born from a love of coffee and a frustration with how complicated it had become.

We’ve been in the coffee industry for over 10 years. We’ve seen it all - different beans, different roasting methods and every trend along the way.

And honestly, in 2026, it’s frustrating to see the specialty coffee market going a bit wild with pricing. We understand inflation and rising costs but is it really fair for a bag of coffee to cost $30 per pound when green coffee often costs no more than $5?

So we decided to run an experiment. We built this brand and priced it right at break-even. Yes, this isn’t about making money. It’s about doing coffee the way we believe it should be done.

We roast the best way we’ve learned—by hand, on a propane roaster, with just enough technology to keep things consistent (not to replace the craft).

We carefully select and blend our beans to create a flavor that works for as many people as possible. You won’t find sharp acidity here. You won’t get harsh bitterness either. And if you’re looking for “green tea” notes… we’re probably not your cup of coffee.

What you will get is a friendly, balanced, yet still complex cup that actually tastes like coffee.
